Footscray West Writers Fest is a brand new event on Melbourne’s cultural calendar and is set to transForm Barkly Street, West Footscray, into a vibrant hub oF writers and readers For one weekend in March 2025.
From poetry readinGs over a morninG coFFee to a local walkinG tour oF West Footscray’s back streets to an eveninG in a wine bar listeninG to writers recitinG their love letters to The West – individual events will take place in public spaces and local businesses in a celebration oF storytellinG unique to Melbourne’s west.
