Join us for a celebratory drink as we launch this year’s Footscray West Writers Fest program, and be one of the first to see what’s coming to the newest story fest in the west. Footscray West Writers Fest returns with a weekend of readings, talks, performance and workshop as we take up residence in West Footscray’s bars, library, restaurants, footy oval, and even a backyard. The theme is Words & Action as we contemplate how our words can change the world.

The festival program will be officially launched by the Mayor of Maribyrnong.

Footscray West Writers Fest is organised by West Footscray Arts with support from Maribyrnong City Council. West Footscray Arts is a non-profit organisation dedicated to elevating and supporting art and artists in our local community.
